Similar to our dental programs, which provide low-cost dental care to uninsured children and adults, the VVCF recognized a significant need among direct aid applicants for physical therapy services that may not be fully covered by insurance. In fact, on average, 31% of applicants who seek funding through our direct aid program, require physical therapy. In response to this growing need, Eagle County Moves was born!

We are grateful to partner with Axis Sports Medicine and Mary Witt to provide physical therapy sessions for individuals who need support on their journey back to health. Similar to our Direct Aid Program, applicants must have lived and worked in the Vail Valley for at least one year to qualify. Eligible individuals can apply for up to ten sessions, after which they may reapply to the VVCF for additional funding.
